Sustainability

Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility are deeply embedded in our organization. Our ESG strategy is structurally on management's agenda. Thus, we take our responsibility to do what is right.

CSRD

Like many other organizations in the financial services industry, we - and our clients - must comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This guideline outlines how an organization report on its sustainable activities. We enhance our social contribution by focusing on the three ESG topics:

  1. Environment (environmental)
  2. Social
  3. Governance

Environmental

  • We are one of the first to sign the Rotterdam Climate Agreement
  • We measure our carbon footprint and analyze how we can save energy
  • We are a member of the Green Business Club Fascinatio in Capelle a/d IJssel
  • We ensure waste separation and circular disposal of IT hardware
  • The car fleet is 75% electric
  • We develop green products with our customers

Social 

  • Our female-to-male ratio is currently >50% women. 43% of our top management within Blauwtrust Groep, including Quion, are women
  • We embrace diverse and inclusive ways of working
  • We encourage workplace wellness initiatives such as flexible schedules, remote working, team building activities and subsidized gym memberships
  • We conduct an annual employee engagement survey

Governance 

  • Our Head of ESG is the primary point of contact for ESG projects
  • The management team receives continuing compliance education
  • Every quarter, ESG is a standard item on the Supervisory Board agenda
  • We have a two-tier corporate structure (Executive Board & Supervisory Board)
  • We have a whistleblower procedure and Speak-up policy
